Doctor House Calls in St. Petersburg, FL

Mobile Medical Care by Remedicus

Save yourself a trip to the doctor's office or urgent care center and receive medical care in the privacy and comfort of your own space.

Concierge-style medical care. Delivered to your door.

There was a time when doctors came to see you.

No traffic. No crowded waiting room. No sitting under fluorescent lights wondering what mysterious cough the person three chairs away is generously sharing with everyone.

At Remedicus, I'm picking the mantle back up. Depending on your needs, I can come to your home, office, or hotel room and provide personalized, unhurried medical care where you're most comfortable.

Medical care for discerning patients.

A house call can be a good alternative to a doctor's office when you're not feeling well enough to venture out, have difficulty getting to a medical office, value your privacy, or simply prefer the convenience of being seen at home.

Depending on your situation, I may be able to help with:

  • Acute illnesses and minor injuries

  • Chronic disease management

  • Headache/migraine management

  • Mental and behavioral health concerns

  • Injections, nebulizer treatments, acupuncture

  • Post-hospital follow-up and wound care

No crowded waiting rooms. No rushed appointments.

I'll have the time I need to sit down with you, listen to what's going on, examine you, and discuss your options without constantly glancing at the clock.

You get my attention.

I get a better understanding of you. And since I'm already there, I may even take care of your other family members while I'm at it.

That's real family health care.

Why I personally prescreen every house call.

Not every medical problem belongs in your living room.

Before scheduling a house call, I'll speak with you briefly by phone to understand what's happening and determine whether a home visit makes sense.

If I believe you need an emergency department, hospital evaluation, advanced imaging, or another level of care, I'll tell you. I don't want you paying me to arrive at your door just to announce, "You really need to go to the ER."

The goal is simple: I only commit my time to a house call when I believe there's a reasonable chance I can genuinely help you.

How house calls fit into your overall health care.

I make house calls alongside seeing patients in my downtown St. Petersburg office and online through telehealth.

Think of the house call as one part of a flexible approach to care – not a replacement.

If your situation requires laboratory testing, ongoing monitoring, additional treatment, or something better handled outside your home, we can continue your care in my office or through telehealth when appropriate.

Sometimes I'll come to you.

Sometimes you'll come to me.

Sometimes neither of us has to go anywhere.

This is the reality of modern life.

You provide the address. I'll bring the stethoscope.

If you'd like to find out whether a Remedicus house call is appropriate for you, give me a call at 727-252-6060.

I'll speak with you first, learn a little about what's going on, and determine whether I can help.

Then sit back and relax.

I'm on my way.
